Something that has always fascinated me is the nature of ideas. Ideas begin life in a lonely fashion. One person’s mind, mulled for a moment and then often discarded like a cheap piece of gum. But if we nurture and cultivate an idea, their profound nature becomes apparent. Ideas spread. Not like butter across a piece of toast, thinned and diminished as it reaches out. Ideas only get fuller, stronger, richer as they find new homes in other’s minds. Ideas become the invisible strands that connect us. Ideas are alchemy. Ideas turn ‘me’ into ‘we’.
When I’m not churning the mind-butter, I’m happy to spend my time watching some hockey while scratching my dogs belly.
Always pursuing the perfect cappuccino.
